Historical Markers:  The dedication of the Francis Rapley Owings House marker in Laurens County.


Statewide Survey of Historic Properties:  A survey in Conway identified the Conway Residential Historic District, later listed in the National Register of Historic Places.


National Register of Historic Places:  The Town Hall is part of the Ridgeway Historic District in Fairfield County.

Tax Incentives:  The McColl Block building on Main Street in Bennettsville was rehabilitated using tax credits.

Local Governments:  The SHPO supports local government preservation programs through training and grants.  Here, staff speak at a City of Columbia workshop for homeowners in local historic districts.
 
Grants:  A planning grant helped fund a preservation plan for the McCollum-Murray House in Greeleyville, now a branch of the Williamsburg County Library.


Review and Compliance:  The Department of Veteran's Affairs consulted with the SHPO on the expansion of the Florence National Cemetery.
